Theft of lottery tickets in Winter Haven

Polk County Sheriff's detectives are seeking information about the theft of lottery tickets from the Citgo located at 4980 Spirit Lake Road in Winter Haven.
Around 3:50 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021, the two female suspects arrived at the store in a light-colored Honda Civic, walked into the office area, and stole two books of tickets - they took a book of "Struck by Luck," and a book of "$5,000 a Week." The total value of the tickets is $800.00. They were last seen heading south on Spirit Lake Road towards Bartow.
One suspect is described as a heavyset black female, between 20-30 years old, wearing a red and grey hoodie pantsuit.
The other suspect is described as a heavyset female, between 20-30 years old, wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and jeans.
If anyone has information about this theft they are urged to contact Detective Kier at 863-297-1117 in reference to case number 21-46989.
